I am a California girl. Born and raised in Southern California my whole life. Yesterday we were in the living room and we checked the weather channel because we had some thunderstorms coming our way. The radar is fine, a band of storms coming our way. All of a sudden we had a severe thunderstorm warning pop up on the screen. I have an infatuation with tornados, storm chasing and thunderstorms. I was running from window to window looking at the different angles of what was coming. Aubrey was rocking in her swing asleep and Philip was filling out a job application online. All of a sudden we had one of the Emergency Broadcast beeps filling the air. I was texting my mom to tell her about our severe storm warning because she knows of my interest with storms. I have heard plenty of Emergency Broadcast Tests, but never the real thing. All of a sudden they report that there is a Tornado Warning for the City of Twin Falls. The radar showed where the storm was headed and it was straight for us! I was flipping out. Still running room to room and looking at the storm and it freaked me out but at the same time I was excited.
Long story short, the storm bypassed us and the tornado never touched down. I took a few pictures and some video of the storm. Enjoy, I know I did! :)

Weather is awesome! You weren't kidding when you said a storm was coming it. It's funny how something ominous looks so beautiful.
