New blog!

I have decided to create a new blog to keep family and friends updated! I'm feeling bad about sending out mass emails often with new pictures of Aubrey and our family, so I think this is a better way to stay in touch. I will update this as much as possible with pictures of the kids and Philip and I. Bookmark this page and check back on us. This weekend I am taking Aubrey outside for her 3 month old pictures. She is doing so well. She has discovered her voice and hands these past two weeks. She now holds her hands together like she is praying. If she loses her pacifier, she immediately has her hand in her mouth. She is "talking" to us as well. If we hold the phone up to her ear, she will carry on a conversation, look around for the person talking and smile. It warms our hearts to see her develop into a beautiful little girl. She is sleeping very well. Since 5 weeks old she has been sleeping through the night. She goes to bed around 10pm (Daddy works nights so we have a late schedule) and will get up around 6 or 7am and then eat and sleep for another few hours. Her eyes are blue still (I think she has Daddy's eyes!) and her blondish hair is looking red in the sunlight.

Sister Laura is in California for the summer. She has been there since mid-June. First she was with Uncle Richard and then flew to Southern CA to spend time with her fathers family and my mom and family. She'll go back with Uncle Richard at the end of July and stay with him until mid August when she'll come home to get ready for 7th grade! Middle school time for Laura. She will be going to a private christian school this year and we are very excited about the great opportunities she will have at our church's school.
